A car porch carries loads nothing else in the house does. A tile that is perfectly fine in a bedroom will crack under a wheel, and a bed laid with voids underneath will fail exactly where the tyre sits.
We use thicker, vitrified or heavy-duty porcelain rated for vehicle traffic, bedded with full coverage so there is no hollow spot to crack into, over a properly compacted base.
Surface finish matters too — the porch gets wet and it is where people step out of the car, so we fit textured, slip-resistant tiles and lay them with a slight fall so rainwater drains out rather than standing.

Will the tiles crack under the car?
Not if the tile is rated for it and the bed is solid. Cracks almost always trace back to a void under the tile or an interior-grade tile used outdoors.
How do I stop the porch getting slippery in rain?
Textured or anti-skid exterior tiles, plus a proper drainage fall so water leaves the surface instead of sitting on it.
